Fiona came to my home, with her portable cases of ‘magic’! The fact that Fiona visits you in your home, I believe, is a positive as you are already relaxed, you don’t have to worry about affecting the end result with going outside until you need to go out and display the end results. I had my make up and strip lashes done for my birthday, a girls night out. Having had previous consultations about what I do and don’t like, Fiona was able to create the perfect look for me. I very rarely wear makeup, so wanted it to look as natural as possible but with a hint of glam. The products that she uses felt light on my face and she worked well with my over rosy cheeks and redness on my chin and nose. The lashes used looked so natural. My girlfriends weren’t aware they were false until I pointed them out. Fiona chose a colour of lipstick that I can only describe as ‘I don’t think so’! But it was perfect and went so well with the coral/red jumpsuit I was wearing that night. All in all, Fiona truly knows her ‘stuff’. I put my trust in Fiona and felt and looked amazing… Thank you Fiona.

Fiona did my make-up for a Christmas Party. Her attention to detail was amazing. I was really tired, had recently put on a bit of weight so nothing fitted and didn’t want to go the party. In fact, despite not really being dressed up, women commented on how nice I looked and how fabulous the make up was. It lifted my spirits and the evening was a lot of fun. Fiona, thank you for glamming me up this afternoon, as a trial-run for my University graduation this Saturday . I was aiming for a made-up look that was both elegant and smart; yet at the same time looked ‘out of this world’. Needless to say, as usual, you didn’t disappoint! You took great care and time to discuss with me the look that I was aiming for; right down to what type of make-up I used at home, as this also informed what products, as well as colours, you would use. Once we’d decided on that, you were very professional in applying my make-up, pausing often to let me appreciate the effect. When you had finished – wow! I’ve always liked my green eyes, but you really made their colour ‘pop’. My skin looked great, thanks to your skill in matching foundation, shader, and blusher to my particular tone. The lipstick really did complete my look, and also was a long-lasting type – it needed to last all day, and survive both eating, and drinking celebratory champagne! To finish, my husband and son both like and approve of the glam me! Thanks again, Fiona!
Fiona is very thorough in her explanation of how having the right wardrobe of clothes enhances not just your appearance, but how you are perceived by other people. She definitely knows her stuff and shows you exactly where to look for the right garments for you. I learned a huge amount from Fiona, and I know there is a lot more she can and will teach me.
I can’t say enough how pleased I am that I had a colour consultation with Fiona. She was so approachable and thorough and most importantly I had the time to see for myself what colours suited me. I have to admit, it was a bit emotional too, when I realised I’d been wearing the wrong colours all my adult life! But hey, life is too short not to be making the best of yourself. So I’ve embraced my new found knowledge and am in the process of slowly changing my wardrobe for the better. Just changing my lipstick and hair colour alone has made all the difference! Another bonus is it’s given me a concrete focus whilst shopping. It’s reduced my mistakes and narrowed down my choices, saving me money!

I decided to use Fiona’s service after reaching a point where my wardrobe had stagnated and I had got out of the habit of clothes shopping. The overall experience was excellent – I felt that Fiona listened very carefully to my preferences, understood my personality and taste for clothes and the end result of selected clothes was spot on – despite them being very different colours from what I would have previously chosen. Fiona paid a great level of care and attention to me as mentioned above and listened well. She was extremely responsive to my requests – judging correctly that her shopping for me would be more productive than me tagging along! I was particularly impressed that she changed a pair of trousers twice for me to ensure they were the perfect fit – that is excellent customer service! The end result proves that your professional knowledge and advice is sound. My family were very impressed (and amazed!) that you were so successful as they know how difficult I am to please. In terms of value for money, I was really impressed with the amount of clothes you managed to source for me. It is more than I would normally spend in one shopping trip (or even a year!?) but I now have a selection of lovely clothes which I will be wearing constantly for all occasions from now on. I would definitely refer Fiona and, as I have already mentioned, I can see glimmers of interest in the eyes of some of my family members!

Having had my colour analysis with Fiona, which has made shopping so much easier and enjoyable, I decided to join Fiona for her make-up course. Having learnt so much about how to dress to compliment my colouring, I now know what colours and styles suit me, so there is less room for mistakes and wasted spending. I also gave my 14 year old daughter a colour and style gift for Christmas, which she loved, and it has made shopping for her so much easier too. I have to admit, I am the two-minute make-up applicator, using my fingers to apply foundation, a quick under-eye-liner, mascara and a bit of lippy, usually applied as an afterthought “on the run”. I was therefore a bit sceptical as to whether I would gain much from the class as I am not about to spend hours in front of the mirror in the mornings, but golly was I wrong. Apart from the constant giggles and having to reapply foundation to the tears running down my face, I learnt a lot that I will take advantage of for making the most out of the colours and application of shading which suits my eye shape. I hadn’t appreciated the art form and how subtle techniques can enhance one’s looks. There were two other lovely ladies on the course and we all allowed Fiona to advise us on colours that she knew would suit us, but which we would never have considered. What we learnt was that the colour in the pallet isn’t how the colour looks on your skin, and building up different colours and blending different shades in different places would change the shape and size of your features. Fiona showed us how to apply make-up using different brushes, how to apply false eye lashes for those special moments, and gave us all the confidence to try something new. We all came away from the afternoon having had such a good time, learning how to step out of our boring comfort zones and knowing that we can use our new skills to make us look and feel fabulous. This really was a treat and a great girly time to share with others. I have signed up to go shopping with Fiona very soon, so I can’t wait to learn more tips and to bring the joy of shopping back into my life. I would totally recommend everyone to use Fiona’s colour and style services and to let your hair down and have a brilliant time.
